WORDUP

"Usually I would pass even reading the music blogs that are all Independent Music!!! But this one was actually good because it did not seem like you had to be a scenester knowing the secret handshake to be allowed to read it. They have a good collection of artists from all over the map which is always what I like to see and they have this funny ad running on there site to bring (+44) to Singapore."

Tom Delonge Vs Brandon Flowers Over Line

Tom Delonge, frontman of Angels and Airwaves has launched an attack on Brandon Flowers, frontman of the Killers over err.... a line. Delonge claims that he was the first to say his band's album would be the best in 20 years.

[In summer 2005, DeLonge claimed that his post-Blink-182 band's debut would be the "best f---ing album anybody has heard in 20 years," a comment that was posted on and subsequently removed from the A&A Web site. Roughly a year later, Flowers made a similarly bold statement, saying his band's sophomore release would be "one of the best albums in the past 20 years"

"I back the fact that he did it," DeLonge said of Flowers' pronouncement. "Labels are struggling, bands can't get on radio and something new is needed now. But didn't he know I said that? I mean, he must have heard that I said that first, right?"]
