WORDUP
"Usually I would pass even reading the music blogs that are all Independent Music!!! But this one was actually good because it did not seem like you had to be a scenester knowing the secret handshake to be allowed to read it. They have a good collection of artists from all over the map which is always what I like to see and they have this funny ad running on there site to bring (+44) to Singapore." - Chris, webmaster of mysitestinksbutyoursiscool.com

Audio streams for "Psychotic Girl", taken from The Black Keys' upcoming album "Attack & Release" have been made available at the links below. The Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, The Gorillaz)-produced album hits stores April 1st.
Nada Surf made their triumphant return to the Interface - this time with video - to perform five songs (See These Bones, I Like What You Say, Here Goes Something, Ice on the Wing, Whose Authority) from their infectious new album "Lucky". Armed with only acoustic guitars and a cajón, the Surf peeled away the complex studio layers of the studio versions and took a bare-bones unplugged approach.
Nada Surf's frontman Matthew Caws spoke to Spinner about the post major-label freedoms that the band now enjoys. "After we got dropped we bought a van and starting doing it ourselves," he said. "It was so simple. We made the record, we sold the record, we said 'Hi' to the people, we played the show." Caws also waxed poetic about working with Chris Walla and the unity within the Barsuk family. Watch this awesome band's performance here.
All Time Low's cover of "Umbrella" and Forever The Sickest Kids' cover of "Men In Black" are now streaming over at altpress.com. Speak of, FTSK has titled their upcoming debut "Underdog Alma Mater".

Jeremy Fisher to support The Proclaimers on month-long US tour
Jeremy Fisher will be direct support for The Proclaimers, who have announced a month-long tour across the U.S. this spring. Starting in Buffalo, NY, the two artists will travel westward, their last tour date in San Juan, CA on May 18.
Jeremy Fisher has been on the road in the United States since August 2007, following headline dates and a support tour with Jenny Owen Youngs. He began 2008 playing alongside Will Hoge and Jason Isbell & The 400, and is currently headlining a tour with Jim Bianco and Brooke Waggoner. As he supports his latest Wind-up Records release "Goodbye Blue Monday" (Fall 2007), Jeremy is eager to get on bigger stages here on the US afforded by his opportunity with The Proclaimers.
